• For example, our infant room offers a ratio of 3 infants to 1 teacher, which is half the state requirement, and lower than any other center in Hudson. Our infant room is intimate and cozy, but provides enough room between cribs for infants to sleep soundly. Our babies are only an arms-length away.

• Full-Spectrum Lighting: TLC uses full spectrum lights in all classrooms. Full spectrum light most closely resembles natural sunlight. Ordinary fluorescent lights can emit X-rays, radiation and radio waves – emissions that can decrease productivity and cause fatigue, confusion, eyestrain, irritability, depression and hyperactivity in some sensitive children. A study of one classroom concluded that hyperactivity declined by 33 percent when full spectrum lighting was used. With full spectrum lights, the pupils in the eyes will become smaller. This response generates clearer vision and higher perception.
