Thank you to all the parents who joined us on Friday for our Ice Cream Social. Last week was the Week of the Young Child and we want you to know that it is an honor and a privilege to spend our days with your little ones. This time in a child’s life is so important and we take this responsibility very seriously. Thank you for joining us to celebrate your children and finding the joy in the simple things….like ice cream!
It's hard to believe it is already April and it is time to start thinking about fall! TLC's outstanding teachers and curriculum create an atmosphere where learning is fun and a breeze! Take a look at our awesome Preschool, Pre-K, and Five Year olds as they discover all about spring all the while using their critical thinking skills, creativity, and cooperation skills! We have a few open spots in the fall! Set up your tour today to reserve your spot!
This week I was given a great article by Ms. Jennifer. What it said has stuck with me all week as I floated in and out of our classrooms. I saw magic in Ms. Loretta’s room as she held three little ones in her lap as she read with pure joy. There was magic in Ms. Jennifer’s room as they played in the cardboard house they built. Watching the Young Explorers brave their first steps across the floor is magical. Hearing our new babies cooing at their teachers with little grins is magical! The joy and giggles of the preschoolers who danced around the room pretending to be bees pollinating the flowers was magical. The Pre-K friends were amazed by watching the “M” from their M&Ms float off the candy in the water jars and were convinced they were seeing magic! Our five year olds are eagerly waiting for the sun to shine so their plants will sprout!
Childhood is magical but often we are too busy planning how to make it magical for our children that sometimes we miss the simple everyday moments with them. I encourage you to read the article, I know it left a lasting impression with me.
