How is TLC different from other centers in the area? 
TLC has a commitment to low ratios in order to meet the social, emotional, and cognitive needs of each child. Our school is located in a unique residential setting that is adjacent to the trails and ponds behind Barlow Community Center in Hudson. Nature is a big part of TLC and encouraging children to explore the world around them is a part of who we are.  

Why are low teacher/child ratios important? 
The research is clear that from birth through preschool, a child must be in a nurturing environment to be set up for future success. Language development is critical for a child, and it is precisely why we value our small teacher-to-student ratios. With fewer students per teacher, we are able to ensure that we spend more time reading, talking, singing and fostering learning with each and every child. Learn more about our philosophy

On what holidays is TLC closed? 
TLC is closed on the following holidays or on the day designated for the holiday: New Year's Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. 

What are your hours of operation? 
TLC Academy is open year-round Monday through Friday. We open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. 

What are your rates? 
Our rates vary by age, number of children in the family and full-time versus part-time. We would be happy to set up a tour, and  provide you with a customized rate schedule that fits your family’s needs.

Do you offer part-time care? 
We do offer part-time care for Toddlers and Preschool. Give us a call and we would be happy to see if we can meet your needs!
