Today, the toddlers put some oobleck (corn starch and water) in some bins with Halloween cookie cutters and let them go to town. The kids loved poking it and watching it turn into water again in their hands.

Today the infants got to play with 'ghost slime!' At first they were a little confused, but once they got used to it they enjoyed poking, slapping, pinching and pulling on it! If you would like to make some at home for your littles to play with, here is the recipe!
GELATIN SLIMEWe tested our recipe for gelatin slime or corn syrup slime a few times. No matter what you end up with, this gelatin slime is slimy and fun for kids and adults too! YOU WILL NEED:
STEP 2: Mix the gelatin into the water slowly, but it may still form a few clumps. STEP 3: Then add in a 1/4 cup of corn syrup and mix together. Today, one of our lovely parents came in today and made 'elephant toothpaste' for the kids. What is elephant toothpaste? Well, when you mix dish soap, highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide, and yeast it created this thick foam like substance. To make it festive they decided to do it in a jack 'o' lantern! The kids loved being able to help out and watch the foam ooze out of the pumpkin.
