Through out the year we love to plan special activities for the preschoolers that will be leaving us for kindergarten. We do an ice scream social, parent days, grandparent days, apple picking and even field trips to the splash park on veterans way or a special lunch at Yours Truly. This year we are restricted, but here are some ways we have continued to make graduating to kindergarten special for our kids. Stay tuned for more special events that we have planned for our amazing Preschoolers.
Our Preschool classrooms enjoying a pajama day, watching Lilo and Stitch with movie snacks!
Staying Engaged: Our Preschoolers picked the movie and brainstormed about the best movie snacks, but mostly, this was a way to reward our amazing kids!

Our Preschoolers had a blast making homemade ice cream.
Staying Engaged: Ice Cream has been of great interest to our Preschool 2 kids (for obvious reason!). Our wonderful lead teacher Ms. Ashley has noticed that and implemented ice cream into the lesson plan. They brainstormed all the supplies needed to run an ice cream shop and put together their own imaginary shop. The kids were able to learn about the science that goes into making ice cream, play out selling and buying scenarios, and of course, enjoy some delicious treats!
